Climate change is a serious issue facing mankind, and we recognise our responsibility & the importance of changing our business practices, and to embrace sustainability. 

We are committed to adopting ecological practices that will help reduce our impact on the future of our planet.

OUR PRACTICES

We have recently completed several processes of incorporating environmentally friendly products into our cleaning systems and continue to search for the most  effective recyclable materials from our supply chains.

We use only fully electric vans and have implemented all LED lighting in our stores together with all new triple A+ machinery in our production facilities, to reduce our overall energy consumption.

PROJECTS

Our latest project has been to investigate how better to approach our packaging requirements. This is a more complicated process as there are many claims by various polymer manufacturers, to having developed products, known as `biodegradable `or `oxy-biodegradable' with EU directives being debated in order to prove beyond doubt, that they are of an effective sustainable replacement. Rather than await clarification of those claims, we have decided to change our current approach to packaging and offer a new multi-packaging that will reduce our overall plastics use.

By communicating our commitment externally to business partners, suppliers and customers, in a clear and consistent fashion, we hope that sustainability becomes an ingrained part of all our lives' daily culture.
